NEW Ann's Paper Art Pattern

This is one of the NEW patterns from Ann's Paper Art for this month, it's a beautiful pattern to stitch, the Pattern No is A656, click on the pattern No and it will take you to Ann's paper Art Webshop.

I stitched this pattern in a rose pink thread and a green thread, I have also used a circle Die and a Milly Stamped image for the little girl,  and coloured it in using Pro Markers. I Die Cut the roses using the Lea'bilities Rose Die, which you can also purchase from Ann's Paper Art Webshop , I added some green gems and some roses which I have inked  to add a little colour to them.

A Splash of Gold

I have to say, this was a first for me, I went to Alexandra Palace to the BIG STAMP AND SCRAPBOOKING SHOW this month, and I bought some Masks and Sparkle Medium, I was so impressed with what I saw, I just had to try this out for myself, but I still like to add my embroidery stitching patterns, so I chose one of Ann's paper Art Patterns, No a449 and had to adjust the size a little to fit, the Mask that I have used is a Stamposaurus one, I have done this on a Blue card stock, then stitched the pattern in a gold sparkly thread adding Matt Gold rice beads, I mounted it onto Gold Mirri card, then used a Blue card stock the same as I stitched onto,  then I added a  Gol Glittered Martha Stewart Butterfly to the centre, I love the finish of this card, and will definitely use the Sparkle Medium again. I have entered it into the Contest for the Month on Ann's Paper Art Forum

Birthday Card

I absolutely loved stitching this pattern, it is Ann's Paper Art pattern No a645, I stitched it in a Blue and Silver thread on white linen cardstock, then I Die cut the corners with a  Nellie Snellen  Multi Frame Die, No MFD027 2 Corners-1, the Butterfly was Die Cut from a Die that I borrowed from a friend, it's so beautiful, I used a silver and blue paper to cut the butterfly, the back of the butterfly is die cut with a silver paper, I added a few light blue gems to the pattern to finish it, I hope you all like it.

Card for a Man

This card I have made for a male birthday, I used Ann's Paper Art Pattern No a0279, and coloured the beer mug with watercolour pencils, I really like this pattern, it's easy to stitch, the backing paper is from a paper pad by the Paper Cellar.

Friendship Card

On Ann'spaperart forum we are playing a game called the punishment game, if we use certain  banned words during the month that the forum has banned we get a punishment, the punishment is to make a card and send it to a member of Ann's forum, we call it a Secret Squirrel card, or an SS card, because no other member knows who will receive the card until it arrives, this is the Easel card I made for Annalie in South Africa, I used Ann's Paper Art pattern No a653, and also the letter A from  Ann's Paper Art pattern No a2068, I also used a Memory Box flower Die for the flower and added a pearl brad to the centre.  The paper that I have stitched onto is from Craftwork Cards.

Birthday card for my Niece

I had a lot of fun making this card for my Niece, I decided I wanted to make her a card with something on it that was a big part of her teenage years, she was a big fan of Betty Boop and still is, so I used a picture that I had and die cut it to fit the pattern that I have used, the pattern No is APA pattern No a0333 I stitched it in a Black and Gold thread and a Red and Gold thread, I glittered the earings and bracelet (OMG, What a mess I made all over the dining room table, I can't believe how much glitter spreads all over the place, and I only used a little bit) and then added some gold sparkly gems and black matt gems, at the bottom I added the Card candy in black and gold, and on the top corners I Die cut the swirly corners from Black mirri card using a Memory Box corner Die which I think tied it all together very nicely, I matted it onto gold Mirri card and them mounted it onto Black pearlescent cardstock, I decided to photograph the card and then made the insert with the same picture on it, My Niece was so thrilled with her card, it was well worth all the effort.

Birthday Card

I made this card using Ann's paper art pattern No a0338, I used an Art Deco Die cut  image and matched the colour of the threads to the colours in the image, I used cream linen card to stitch onto, I then mounted it onto purple mirri card , added a little straight border peel off, and then mounted it onto cream linen card. I hope you like my card.
